We thought this was an odd combo (clams and ice cream), but we soon realized, it's very common at the Clam Shacks in New England.

They spoiled the kids with gifts....Dane got a Dodger jersey (Dodgers & Red Sox are in different leagues, so Uncle Josh says it's okay).
Lexi got this whole tea party set for her dolls, and loves it. Dane is seeing if Woody is tall enough for Kit...
Lady's Man!

Bremen's shot (or mine...we're still debating about it:) of the Empire State Building, from the top of The Rock, at sunset...
A really cool view, better I think, than from the top of the Empire State Building, because it's in your skyline and there's a great view of Central Park! We were hoping to see Conan there at Rockefeller Center, but couldn't find his big red hair, bummer.
Opa with Dane and Lex under the Brooklyn Bridge, on their way to our favorite NY pizza place.....and many others' favorite too, apparently! Oh, and this was only 1/2 the line to get in, and there was a whole other long line for take-out, but after a couple hours of grumbling and waiting, we finally satisfied our appetites!
The guys (my dad, Josh, and Bremen) in Central Park
Don't they look happy? The sealing was beautiful, Elder John Madsen of the 70 sealed them. We're so excited to have Crystal in our family. One good thing about not growing up with sisters, is that I get to enjoy my awesome sisters-in-law that much more, I'm so lucky!
They're such a good example to our kids, look how closely they're all watching them
My in-laws Bryll & Lois, with the newlyweds. Lois looked amazing!
The siblings, minus Joe, who's serving his mission in Iowa. Crystal's dress was gorgeous, she actually designed it herself and had it made! They were absolutely stunning!
Rebecca was so sweet to watch our kids while we were in the temple. Now do you you see where Lily gets her straight hair?

Good kids...
A beautiful day...
We had such a great trip to Utah. It was quick (36 hours), but wonderful and memorable. We got to stay with the Callaways, which was so fun!! They have such sweet kids and we were so comfortable! The kids had so much fun, they asked if we could live in Utah, I had to inform them that submarines can't get to Utah, so we won't live there any time soon. At this point, they think we get to live anywhere, a few months at a time!
