Fall TV

Okay, so I know not everyone is too into TV, but I love relaxing at the end of the day and watching a good drama or comedy (something not Sponge Bob, Thomas or Elmo), once the kids have gone to bed.
I wanna see if any of your favorites are ours too~ the best shows are Lost and 24, but since those aren't on till January, we're excited for The Office (ofcourse), we like The Fringe (has been compared to The XFiles), and I also like The New Adventures of Old Christine, funny stuff. And embarrasingly enough, I've also gotten sucked into watching 90210-atleast Rach is watching that with me... I think! Some of these I record on my DVR and watch the next day while I do laundry, like Priviledged, it's a cute show.
Why do I feel like I just put an unflattering picture of myself on here. Oh well, it's what I like! How about you, what are you watching???

I am embarrassed to admit that I have been watching 90210 too. But I keep telling myself it is because I need something to watch at 1am and 2am and 3am.... while I nurse Ethan. I however, am a reality tv junkie. I love biggest loser and survivor and big brother . . . sad huh! I also like greys anatomy too.

Oh...do not even get me started on the shows that I am watching!

90210: Yes, it is my guilty pleasure along with Gossip Girl and The Hills!

Biggest Loser: Amazing show...love BOB.

The Office: if you ever watch the DVD series of Arrest Development, The Office just isn't funny.

Project Runway: as well as Top Design (Ricky Schroder's wife is on it), Salon Takeover, Top Chef, Real Housewives, and Flipping Out. If I could only have one TV channel, it would have to be Bravo.

Oh and Jon and Kate plus 8.

I know I have a serious addiction!

Oh and I am having serious problems with all of the 90210 girls being deathly skinny...all the main female characters!

ok, I actually am cancelling cable because we don't watch tv...ever at least bart and I don't and it's been a month since I let the kids turn it on!! Their bugged at me as we speak, but they'll get over it. We do however have the dvd's of the Office, that I watch everynight before going to bed and I'm tempted to watch it this season....but probably won't until it comes out on dvd. Bart's never home at night, so i hurry and get the kids in bed, then clean up house and if I tried to watch tv and fold laundry, the laundry doesn't get folded because I get too sucked into what I'm watching. So i figured, i'd save a buck and cancel cable...I'll probably regret getting rid of my cheap babysitter...

Hi Andrea,
I'm so glad you commented on my blog! Now we can all keep in touch. Your mom wasn't sure what your exact address was so after talking to her I wasn't able to find you. I told her I was excited to run into her because I haven't talked to you guys in a long time. It's so good to see you are doing well. Your family is adorable!

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I haven't been watching the 90210 spinoff!! I'll probably just watch all the reruns in the middle of the night during my next pregnancy, haha My parents don't watch much tv, so I have kind of gotten out of the habit. Thankfully my Mom watches the Office! I'm so happy that is back on!!!
I also love Project Runway and Jon & Kate plus 8.
Top Chef is my other favorite but that's not on till later.

I can't believe you read all twilights in 1 week!!! what took you so long to jump on the bandwagon? I finally finished my masters but I have no idea what I want to do with it???

Talking about TV, Eli has just started to watch a little and the only one he'll watch is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. A lot of them are the same episodes I watched with Dane and Lexi!! Eli likes Elmo too, but not really Sesame Street. I have a couple Elmo dvds, but he gets so mad when the cut to the scenes of the people.

We cancelled our cable a few months back because we never had time to watch, but then my brother informed me of hulu.com... so now I am sooo hooked on it! I can watch something nearly every night... that is SOOOO bad! I am now caught up on 24, my friend convinced me to watch the last season of Heroes, but so far the new season is a bit too gruesome for me so don't know if I can carry on with that one. House, Psych, Monk and old Pretender reruns have been the recent favs. And of course SO glad Office is back. Uhm the Fringe is a bit wierd, but hubby likes it so I have been seeing those.... Wow if my mom read this she would be pointing out how many hours of wasted time I just listed and run off a list of more productive uses of my time. Good thing it was always late night hours that I should have been sleeping!! Who needs sleep anyhow? =)

I dont like most tv shows but i have to admit that the new night rider was fun to watch. Kit can transform into a truck. It was so silly that i loved it. Earl (my name is) is also a winner.

I love TV trash too Andrea. Look at us all confessing. I love the office but keep forgetting when it is on and I don't have a dvr. I am a Grey's Anatomy sucker and I like to catch others but I seem to always be dealing with my kids when they are on so right now I have kind of given up. But most of all I LOVE movies! I too like to curl up on the couch once the kids have retired to unwind in front of the tube.

Admittedly, Ben and I are also way into The Office! Until recently we were very hooked on Project Runway, and now Top Design is our casual second favorite. I just like watching it for the ideas, it's fun to start thinking of things I would do myself. :D
